CDOSend.zip	Provides a flexible e-mail notification mechanism utilizing a WMI policy to trigger e-mails when messages are received on the management server. The cdosend script sends mail to the configured contacts in the OpenView operations UI. Updated November, 2005 - multiple operational improvements - including stripping of bare linefeed escape characters (for certain smtp servers), e-mail address validation, and a new variable, <$MSG_ID>. Updated May 6,2004 so CDOSEND now detects outage-nodes (for those using OVIOutage) and will not send mail when the originating node is in an outage. Also added a second command-line parameter... you can now OVERRIDE the node/node group lookup with manual e-mail addresses - this allows you to use CDOSEND as a complete replacement for other mail sending tools.. the added parameter is the e-mail address(es) that you want to send to... as in cscript.exe <msgid> <email1@company.com,email2@company.com>. E-mail addresses must be separated with commas, and NO SPACES. All the other cdosend capabilities apply - the message format template, local SMTP usage, etc.
OVMultiMedia.zip	Provides audible notification when new messages arrive in the active message browser. This is handy for large operation centers where audible notification gets sleepy operators attention. Recent enhancements include a full windows UI (rather than a script), and added sound files. Includes node group inclusion or exclusion list so sounds will only play for the groups that matter the most in your environment.
